Yesterday at the Tuesday morning staff meeting I proceeded to turn on my laptop Mac. Well, if you have read Pastors’ blog you know that it did not come on. Well, also through this I made a comment about I only had to take it in to the Apple store and they would fix it. Weeeeell, I found out that I did not buy the extended warranty. So, to get the laptop fixed I would have to shell out some money, (boy was my wife ticked!).
When I tried to cut the computer on at Pastors’ it would make a sound like it does when you have to update the processor. After I found out I did not have the warranty and the computer is over 1 year old the manufactures warranty is gone, I tried to cut it back on. It did the same thing, so I cut it off and restarted it and this time I held the power button down like you do when updating. It did the same thing it had been doing, so I set it out of the way and let it just do its thing. After a while I looked over and it was on and looked normal. I cut it off, rebooted it and am now typing in this entry on it. Obviously when I had it on Sunday morning doing some stuff for church I down loaded some updates and did not realized I had to go through the update reboot thing.
It is crazy that I went from up to down to up to down over a piece of metal, yeah an expensive piece of metal, but still just a piece of metal.
Later.
